Our Mission:
We are the Cleveland, OH based band, Petals and Thorns. We formed in 2009 in Cleveland, Ohio. We are a female/male duo studio collaboration between vocalist
Mia Petals and multi-instrumentalist/producer Johnny Thorns.
Our new album "The Maid And The Blacksmith" is now released and streaming as of 10/31/2020 and it is our second album.
We are looking to increase our exposure through reviews, interviews, radio, DJs, television, streaming platforms, magazines, and news articles. We are also interested in live and virtual shows, record labels, booking agents, influencers, promoters and producers.

Short Bio:
- We are certified through ASCAP and CD Baby as of 2014.
- We made DIY music videos for our first album, "The Broken Mirror". You can see the videos ----> here.
- On September 9th, 2015 "The Broken Mirror" was officially added to Pandora radio. Click here to listen.
The Broken Mirror 10.29.2014
- The original release of "The Broken Mirror" was, via Bandcamp, on Oct 29, 2014. Then we launched BigCartel on December 30, 2014.
- Our second video "Immoral Disclosure" was featured on the "Right This Minute" website and hailed as thought provoking.
- "The Broken Mirror" became officially available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon,.. etc. on February 10, 2015.
- We were featured on DJ Raven Digitalis' "Midnite Soundscapes", Tampa based "Dark Horizons", University of Columbia's "Dark Entries: Goth Radio", and we starred as musical guests on the Cleveland area local television show "The Daughter Of The Ghoul Show".
- In 2015 we had our first print interview with "Gothic Noir Magazine". Songs from the album were featured again on "Dark Horizons", "Dark Entries", "Midnite Soundscapes", "Communion After Dark", Cleveland's own "Dare Waves" and "COMA Music's Ooontzcast Compilation Vol 1". Our song "Method To The Madness" was featured on the Issue #39 of Devolution Magazine's cover mount cd compilation on pg. 44, release December of 2015.
- Live Shows: We opened four times for the Cleveland based band Lestat, starting in 2012 until 2014 prior to our album release. We also opened for Stoneburner in 2014, William Control in 2015 and we played a New Year's Eve show in Buffalo, NY.
- In 2020 the mastering and post production for the second album was done by Cleveland area studio engineer / producer, Brandon Youngs of Track Six Recording Studios.
- We released our new album "The Maid And The Blacksmith" on Halloween 10/31/2020 via Bandcamp and Youtube.
- In November of 2020,"Terra Relicta Dark Music Webmagazine" featured our new album in their "Spotlight" Publications."Terra Relicata Radio" also added the song "Digital Religion" to their airplay rotation. "The Maid And The Blacksmith" was featured on "Brutal Resonance's "What's In Our Inbox?" #40." along with the song "Digital Religion".
- Songs from the new album received radio airplay on "Dark Entries:Goth Radio" and livestream attention on Twitch channels: "DJ Jason Spins Goth", "Spooytish" and "Corvus Malum".
- "Mick Mercer Radio's Broadcast 200 on November 15th, 2020" featured the song "Through The Shadows" via Mixcloud. Then again on "Mick Mercer Radio Broadcast 201 November 29th, 2020", our song "Burning Within" was featured.
- MMH Radio: The Home of Rock Radio [Heresy w/ Adz] played the song "Digital Religion".
- February 2021: Mia had her first ever zoom interview on Flatline2Beatline with Night Shayde. She revealed that the duo is working on putting together the first music video from the second album sometime in spring of 2021. She also revealed that the song planned for a video is "Lost In A Dream".
- May 28th, 2021: The music video for "Lost In A Dream" was officially released and available for streaming on YouTube.
- WRIR LP 97.3 FM Richmond NC Independent Radio "Metal Box" (Gothic Lizard) featured the song "Lost In A Dream" on June 3rd, 2021.
- MMH Radio: The Home of Rock Radio [Heresy w/ Adz] played "Lost In A Dream" on June 5th, 2021.
- October 29th, 2021: The music video for "Echo Chamber" was officially released and available for streaming on YouTube.
- Cleveland's horror hostess Janet Decay, from "The Mummy And The Monkey" show, interviewed us. The Youtube video ( Janet Decay Meets Petals And Thorns. Cleveland Goth Music ) premiered on November 20th, 2021.
- February 2022: The music video "Burning Within" was officially released and available for streaming on YouTube.
